With reference to Mr. Bramston's letter of the 27th February last, I am directed by the Secretary of State for India to forward copy of a letter which has been received from the Government of Bombay regarding the amount payable by the Hongkong Government on account of the half salary of Nurse McIntosh whose services were recently placed at the disposal of the Government of Bombay.

I am to request that the sum of £33.7.9 may be placed to the credit of this Department by the enclosed receivable order.
